I live for my art. I want to become a writer or if I could ever find an artist maybe a mangaka. I do enjoy drawing but I'm no professional. I usually just draw original characters or characters that go along with something I'm writing so most of my stuff is kind of random, I've done other characters twice ever but I am trying. I've been on DA for almost seven years now, and I almost never upload anything, haven't in almost three years. Well I've recently decided to change that.
For a long time I felt like I shouldn't because I'm not "an artist" and I've now come to the realization that in fact I am. I am a Writer, writing and stories have always been my passion so my New Years resolution is officially to get back into writing, and to start "publishing" my work online. My job may be the most painful, boring, teidous, and excrutiatingly mind-numbing thing I've ever done but it pays well. So yes I've become a sellout officially but in the back of my mind I know that I'm selling out for the cause. On Sunday I went on my first anime binge shopping trip and I feel fantastic!! Now my only problem is that I can't wait for pay day so i can do it all over again, which isn't healthy. -Sigh- It's just a vicious circle when it comes to working for the man.

After having my account for like three or four months I'm finally uploading my stuff into my account today. I've never actually used my scanner before so this may take a while, but I'm very optimistic about it so maybe I'll finally become a true deviant....if I don't take a battle axe to my scanner first. :P
